Louis M. Loizou

Professional Summary

Mr. Loizou is the founder and CEO of CBA – Conquest Business Advisors. During his professional and consulting career, both locally and internationally, Mr. Loizou has been involved and has gained significant experience in issues concerning a wide range of sectors of the economy and a very wide range of organizations: small, large, private, state, local authorities and semi-governmental organizations. He has participated/directed a large number of successful studies / consulting services, including projects related to EU funded and co-funded projects. Other areas of expertise include the development of business / organizations, productivity, occupational health and safety, organizational development, quality, sustainable development, tourism development, environment, corporate social responsibility, renewable energy, development strategies etc. Mr. Loizou prepared and presented seminars on the above topics at international level. He has also lectured at Directors Development Institutes and Universities.

Mr. Loizou was a member of the National Advisory Committee for Technology and Industry (directly appointed  by the President of the RoC), and served as an external expert at the European Commission in Brussels and NCU for the evaluation of EU funded proposals as well as National programs.

For many years he was an external lecturer / collaborator of the Cyprus Productivity Center, for the topics: Feasibility and Appraisal of Projects, in the postgraduate program of Business Administration (MBA), based on the ILO manual, Operations Management and TQM.
